Common questions about migrating

MyGeotab is Geotab’s fleet management platform that your account will transition to. You can preview it via the Geotab Academy and explore Geotab’s suite of award-winning fleet management solutions.
OTA (Over-The-Air) means your compatible hardware can be transitioned remotely — no vehicle downtime required. R&R (Remove and Replace) means your hardware requires a physical swap or installation at the vehicle. In both cases, we coordinate with you to minimise disruption.
For OTA-eligible customers, the transition is designed to be seamless — it happens remotely with no hardware changes and no vehicle downtime. For R&R customers, a hardware installation will be required, but this will be coordinated with you in advance to minimise disruption. Service continues as usual during this period.
Your data remains safe and fully accessible — nothing changes right now. When it’s time for your account to transition, we will walk you through what to expect and exactly how your data is handled. You’ll have clear guidance well in advance, and there will be no surprises.

Geotab Academy provides self-paced learning resources, and we’ll also be hosting live training sessions covering various aspects of the platform. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to build confidence before, during, and after the transition.
The Reveal platform is being discontinued in March 2027 — this applies to all customers in the APAC and EMEA regions. The transition to MyGeotab is being managed carefully with plenty of advance notice. The purpose of this early communication is to give you maximum time to plan. We will work closely with you when it’s time for your account to transition.
